Comparative study between two dimensional Transvaginal Ultrasound (2D TVUS) and hysteroscopy in assessment of Cesarean Section (CS) scar defects: A diagnostic test accuracy study

Background: One of the most frequently used surgical techniques in obstetric practise is the caesarean section. Studying the effects of this surgery on potential future fertility has become more crucial. To prevent its dehiscence or rupture during pregnancy or childbirth, CS scar integrity assessment requires special examinations. Objective: Comparing the effectiveness of ultrasonography and hysteroscopy in identifying the location of the Cesarean section scar in females who are not pregnant as well as determining and commenting on the thickness, continuity, and ballooning of the scar.
