Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome is a typical complication of monochorionic multiple pregnancy, occurring in approx. 15% of that type of pregnancies. If the syndrome develops during the 2nd trimester of pregnancy, it leads to intrauterine death of approx. 80-100% of foetuses. The paper presents current views on diagnostics of the twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome and some suggestions regarding classification of progression of the disease. Management methods and effects of their application presented in literature are analysed
