Postpartum haemorrhage - PPH) is one of the leading causes of mortality perinatal women in Poland and in the world. Atonia is the most common cause of excessive bleeding uterus, occurring immediately after delivery by both routes nature and after caesarean section. There are many risk factors for uterine atony, including: crushing of the uterus (polyfetal pregnancy, fetal macrosomia, polyhydramnios), prolonged or rapid labor, induction of labor or administration of oxytocin during labor, Front bearing, premature separation of the bearing correctly positioned, other bearing pathologies, intrauterine infection, numerous births, a history of postpartum haemorrhage, increased BMI, uterine fibroids, chorionamnionitis.
